Kicking off the second part of Safari Stories season 3, Jomi and Hadley come to you from Botswana’s famed Okavango Delta. In this week’s episode, they talk about their time at the stunning Qorokwe Camp...
Our first afternoon, we settled into our surroundings and took in the beautiful landscape of the area. Just before the sun started to set, we found a pride of eight lions just starting to get active. The pride was on high alert and listening for contact calls being made by a separated pride member in the distance. The soft contact calls that the pride made in response were an added auditory experience on top of what was already a fantastic visual one. Listen to the podcast episode to hear a recording of the contact calls!

We discuss the long morning game drive we went on the next day to the Gomoti Channel—an area that borders the renowned Moremi game reserve, and the countless fantastic sightings we had along the way (think: lions, cheetah, massive herds of buffalo and more).
